Colin was so helpful. I had my upvc windows replaced a couple of years ago and the fitters had just used plastic trim to repair where the plaster had come away on the reveal. Colin came and provide a quote despite it being a fiddly and small job. I was extremely pleased to have the reveal repaired and he fitted the job in very quickly for me. Colin is super tidy and clean. He made sure to clean up afterwards and protected the areas he was working on to make sure nothing was damaged. I can recommend Colin very highly.

We have used Colin a couple of times now to skim artex-covered ceilings and have been delighted with the results. A skilled professional who takes pride in his work. When I pointed out that one section would be covered by fitted wardrobes so he didn't need to make it perfect he replied - "Ah, but I'll know it's there."! Colin skimmed a number of our ceilings to cover over the old Artex finish. He did a very good job and he was particularly careful to make as little mess as possible. His charges were competitive and we are very happy with his work.

Colin had done an excellent plastering job at our property in Binfield. He had to return to the property several times to complete the job from start to finish. Whenever he said he would call, he did promptly. He supported us with various other issues within the property and overall, his involvement had been very helpful. Colin did an excellent job skimming a wall in my landing and repairing blown plaster. I had a last minute request to fix plaster around a door frame and he kindly fit it in without hesitation, which I really appreciated. Colin and Mark did a great job mending and replastering the bedroom ceiling at my Dad's house in Maidenhead. They were both kindly moved all the furniture and personal pictures, etc into one of the other rooms and after the work was done, they cleared up and hoovered everywhere, so it was all left clean and tidy. Colin also recommended a local painter who we've now booked to come and paint the ceiling. I can highly recommend CJ Plastering.

Colin skimmed two ceilings in my home. One large bedroom ceiling and one small textured ceiling in the entryway. Colin was polite and courteous from our first interaction, turned up when he said he would, stuck to the quote and took the time to explain things that I was curious about. I was very pleased with the work that Colin did and appreciated him making sure that I was happy with the level of tidying up before he left. Overall, I would say that Colin is as clean and tidy as you can be with plastering, very reasonably priced, is hardworking and is a genuinely nice person. Most importantly as a young female living alone I found Colin to be very respectful and I felt comfortable having him in my home. If I need any other plastering work done I will most definitely be asking Colin to come back and would not hesitate to recommend him to my family and friends.

Colin quoted to fix the hole and skim plaster our utility ceiling. The job was a little more difficult when he started but he did not charge us any extra. His price was very reasonable and he was very easy to deal with and kept us informed throughout. He covered everything with dust sheets and was a very tidy worker, clearing up as he went. He fully tidied up afterwards and even insisted on mopping the floor ! We would definitely recommend him.

Colin did a superb job plastering two-wall s in our Mater Bedroom that face the outside adding traditional insulation and lime-based topcoat of plaster. We wanted to use cork as a natural breathable nontoxic insulation with lime plastering over the top for a traditional finish and to retain the breathability so important on a Georgian house were the traditional construction always requires walls to naturally allow air to dry the mortars and bricks. The finished job is a much better insulated warmer wall that looks fantastic. Colin has a “can do attitude” which was important when working with traditional materials and as Colin did this work at the end of last year I can say that after painting it is a fantastic finish with no problems, we will be using Colin again in the future.

Colin and his son Danny (plus a helper) completed a very messy removal of 125-year-old lathe plaster with new plasterboard and a beautiful, smooth skim. Colin has just done a great job plastering my bathroom ceiling as part of a refit, coming at fairly short notice on a Saturday morning to fit in with plumber and tiler. Colin does a good job, at a reasonable rate and is a nice person to boot. Colin has done several jobs for us, one replastering a whole room and Colin very helpfully advised me which bits of preparation I could do myself to save on cost.
