George provided a very competitive tender and I am delighted with the work completed. George designed and built a graduated, curved, raised garden bed, which surrounds 3\4 of the lawn.
George has recently done some work in my garden. He removed an old patio and replaced this with some new slabs, also creating a new flower bed. I was very pleased with his work. The job was completed quickly and was well done. He is a friendly and helpful man and I wouldn’t hesitate in using his services again.
George and his team did a great job in building a long retaining wall for a garden bed. George provided a competitive tender and completed the job to plan and budget, and to our satisfaction.
George replaced and extended one patio and also built a new path and patio for us in Dec 2016. On the good side George was able to undertake the work almost immediately and for very modest cost. Unfortunately, there was significant mess to clear up following, and the pointing between the slabs began to lift and come out within weeks. George did return once to repair this, but again the pointing came out and the slabs were moving. We have subsequently had to have much of the work redone by another contractor which involved lifting the slabs, laying a new base and relaying slabs and pointing.

The client’s looked after their mother who lived in a wooden building close to their house. George extended a patio at both properties and created a sloping path in between, digging out the turf and laying the slabs for the path.
Clients were advised not to use for a few days so that path / pointing could settle.
George feels that the use of a wheelchair to and from the house helped to dislodge the path and pointing.
We (The Directory) mentioned to George that the path should be able to withstand this and maybe the base was inadequate hence the movement. Perhaps this accounts for the very modest cost and it would have been better to lay a solid concrete foundation at the outset!
