I originally contacted Leon through the Local Green Directory and he attended promptly to patch a leaking flat roof. This got us through the January rainy period, but it was clear the previous flat roof of nearly 30 years was past it's life expectancy. On the strength of Leon's response and work above, I asked him, along with others, to quote for a replacement flat roof. We agreed on an EPDM rubber system and he undertook the work between 22nd- 24th April during a very settled sunny period. Replacing a roof is hard graft but Leon worked extremely hard to ensure that that each day we were water tight and everything was left tidy. Leon was punctual, kept us informed and courteous. I am pleased to recommend Apex Roofing.

Leon responded quickly for a request to quote for a new ‘RubberBond’ roof for our Utility room. Leon was great. He came round quickly to quote for replacing our giant shed roof and our flat roof. Our shed roof had developed a leak in a storm and he came round in the rain and put a protective cover over it, coming back to replace the whole thing as soon as it was good enough weather. Both the shed and flat roof look great (he took a video). He was neat, tidy and very friendly. Also competitively priced. Very happy with the work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

You don't often get a situation where everything goes right, but it did here. We saw that the flat roof on a dormer window had been weather damaged. We liked the reviews of Apex Roofing and called Leon. He came the next day and analysed what was needed. He promptly sent a quote. We were about to go on holiday and worried that bad weather would cause further damage. He fitted the work into his schedule and it was done on time and to a very high standard. A good professional job to replace a garage flat roof was completed under not the easiest of circumstances due the location of the garage and the neighbouring property, and within the dates and timescale quoted. Fantastic service and a very genuine tradesman. We called Leon as our roof started leaking and he came over to have a look the next day, keeping me informed when his arrival time was delayed because of a previous job. He was very honest about the condition of the roof, what work was sensible and how we could repair the water damage around the window ourselves, to save some money. The roof replacement took one full day and then a couple of hours on the second day. It looks great, the leak has gone, the price was very reasonable and you wouldn't even know he had visited, as he left the garden so tidy!

I was somewhat distressed by a leaky roof in severe rain, but was fortunate to make contact with Leon. He said he was busy and could not do any jobs for the next five weeks, but that he would come round on Saturday to meet and understand the problem. He duly did this, got up on my roof lifted up tiles and checked the membrane, and said it was one broken tile which was the problem. He asked if i had a spare tile. I had one which have been keeping safe for 25 years. He swapped out the broken one on the spot. He did not charge me anything! He is now on speed dial for all my roofing requirements, not because of cost but because he knew exactly what he was doing, a proper professional.

I was impressed with Leon's commitment when I first contacted him as he was prepared to come out on a Sunday to discuss the project. I engaged him to replace a flat roof, and particularly liked the Rubberbond solution as it meant that the wood under the old felt roof did not need to be removed and thrown away. While it did prove necessary to replace a small rotted section which was discovered when the felt covering was removed, this was done at no extra cost. Leon and his team were excellent from start to finish, arriving punctually each day and working late to ensure the roof was completed to deadline. I found Leon and his team very polite, friendly, and hard-working, and I am very pleased with the end result. I would have no hesitation in using them again.

I am very pleased indeed with the roof that Leon has put onto our bespoke lean-to shed on the back of our garage. He has made an unloved, unused, shambolic area into a wonderful dry storage space. We had all four of our flat-roof dormers re-roofed in Rubberbond Fleeceback by Leon from Apex Roofing in July 2018. He is a friendly person who carried out the work as promised: neat, on time, with no mess. He provided full specifications in advance and subsequently kept us in the picture regarding the insurance-backed guarantee which was somewhat delayed by QANW (the providers). He waited patiently until the guarantee arrived, before requiring payment. Fully satisfied.

Apex Roofing fixed a leak in our flat roof and we are very pleased with the results. Leon was very helpful and knowledgable when he came round to take a look at the problem and was the only one that could identify where the leak was coming from and the correct repair to it. He offered a good solution to our problem and was available to take on the work within a few days. He was prompt with his quote. On the day of the work being carried out, he arrived on time and worked through the day under very difficult working conditions as it was one of the hottest days of the year. His workmanship is great, he left the place nice and tidy. He was always very polite and professional and it was a pleasure to interact with him. Apex Roofing were great to deal with. I had 3 quotes, Apex price wasn’t the cheapest but I was so impressed with Leon when he visited to quote that I decided to go with him. He talked me through my options, he left me with leaflets on the different types of flat roof choices. We had a leak in one of our properties which we thought was coming through a flat roof part of the roof. We had three quotes. Leon was the only roofer that took his time and actually worked out where the leak was coming from which was in fact the pitched portion of the roof. We ended up not having the flat roof replaced but had the pitched roof re lined and the existing tiles re-laid. He also re-flashed the chimney and did a small flat roof repair for us. He turned up when he said he would, always left the site clean and tidy and safe. I will have no hesitation using Leon again and will recommend him to any of my friends. Also since the job has been completed I am happy to say we have had some heavy rain and the interior of the property has remained dry.

We needed a new flat roof installed on our property so we got three quotes from various roofers.We decided on using Apex roofing because they stood out from the others not just on their competitive quote but their attitude to their potential clients. From the outset I found Leon very friendly, knowledgable, professional and honest. Apex Roofing did a good job of stripping and reboarding my garage roof, they cleared up afterwards and took away the rubbish. They also covered the flat roof  on my house. I would recommend them.
