Tommy replaced our garage roof after a leak. It turned out the whole garage roof needed replacing. It was done professionally and without delay. Tommy is approachable, knowledgeable and thorough. He kept us updated and turned up on time.

I’ve just bought a house in the area and needed some repairs to the roof - replacement tiles and repointing to the ridge. From start to finish, everything was done efficiently. When arranging scaffolding consideration was given to security at my home. The scaffolded even made sure they arranged things so that my dishwasher could also be delivered without any hindrance. Everything was left neat and tidy. I’d have no hesitation in recommending Allwaysroofing.

Allways Roofing have just finished an extensive roof repair on my house which involved removing all the existing tiles and original battens and felting. Felting and battens were replaced with new and the roof was retiled, some broken tiles being replaced. As ours is a mansard roof, the job was not straightforward because of the varying pitches, several of which are quite steep. It took 3 weeks during the recent very hot but thankfully dry weather, Tommy having agreed to timing the work to take advantage of the forecast dry spell. Communication was good, the team turning up when they said they would and working very well together, explaining what they were doing as they went along, when asked, and addressing any issues we had. As a side comment, the scaffolders also turned up when scheduled, in particular dismantling as soon as the roofing work was finished. All in all a good outcome and I would recommend Allways Roofing.

A scaffolder accidentally put a pole through my garage roof. I managed to source a reclaimed tile and Always Roofing fitted it for me. Exceptional service, they came out very quickly even though it was a small job. Great communications, phoned before they arrived and arrived when they said. Did a very neat job showing respect for my home as well. Highly recommended.

Allways Roofing have just finished a complicated roof repair, which involved removing all the existing tiles, then installing new felt and batten on a large and steep pitched roof, and retiling. It took 3 months and was a difficult job, but they persevered and achieved an excellent result. The quality of work is very high with great attention to even the smallest of retails, and communication throughout the whole project was very good. We have used Allways Roofing before and will use them again. We continue to recommend them.

A leak in the back roof of my house became evident recently and Tommy Grimes and his son(s) carried out a very efficient and effective repair. He arranged for the erection, and subsequent removal, of the necessary scaffolding. They removed and replaced rotten felt and battens and cleaned off the tiles before replacing them. They did the work over a weekend, with the minimum of disruption. I am very pleased with the result and will use them again, if necessary. They have done similar work for me previously and I was very pleased with that too.

It wasn’t an easy job, as unfortunately, my roof was foamed in the ‘70’s, so the tiles were stuck to the roof. They stuck with it through all the frustrations my old roof threw up, and now my house looks fabulous, and if I choose to sell, the buyer can get a mortgage (no foam). I can’t recommend this roofing company highly enough!

Tommy Grimes visited early on the Tuesday morning and was back on the Wednesday morning with his son to replace it. It had come away from the apex of the roof so not the easiest place to reach ,but they got the bit back on and it looks good. They were so quick to come out and deal with it and customer service was great.

We needed Tommy to fix leaking velux windows, do some pointing on our chimney breast and relay some ridge tiles and replace missing tiles from the recent storms. The job. Refurbishment of our bungalow low pitched roof. Tommy Grimes' team did what they quoted and have done a first rate job. They had to deal with poor weather but always made sure our home was watertight. They worked carefully and accurately and kept the site orderly and controlled. When asked they always took time to explain what they were doing and why. The job involved replacement of woodwork on fascias and soffits as well as re-undercloaking and felting. Mortar work was always carefully done in dry conditions. They took particular care of woodwork that had recently been painted, avoiding any damage to it. They are excellent time-keepers, polite and quiet and we would recommend their services to anyone. We have made provision with Allways for another small job for us next spring.
