would like to make a recommendation to the Green Directory, Maidenhead area, for Paul Stacey and his colleagues at Acorn Aerial Services.
They arrived when they said they would, immediately identified the problem, explained what it was then quickly, and efficiently sorted it out. They didn’t try to sell me a new aerial or scratch their heads and say that something would need replacing soon or needed updating, or baffle me with science!
Acorn Aerials are a professional, personable service, reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Acorn Aerial Services. Prompt, courteous and helpful. Added to which, their aerials work.

In July last year, we decided that our 20+ year old aerial was not adequate for reception of Channel 5 and was distinctly poor for digital signals. I looked through The Directory and selected Acorn Aerial Services. Paul Stacey was helpful and friendly and we were able to fix a date and time, which he kept to faithfully. He was expeditious and his aerial worked well.
During January, we had some high winds. Because of our position and the distance to the transmitter, it was necessary for a tall mast to be installed and this bent slightly. Of course, Acorn’s guarantee has a reasonable proviso that the warranty shall be void in extreme weather conditions. Nevertheless, Mr Stacey did not hesitate; he said the wind was high but not extreme so we fixed a date and time for him to put things right. He was only a few minutes late on the day but he had the courtesy to telephone us to apologise and say he was on his way. He did an entirely satisfactory job – we would go to him again or recommend him for his service
