The classic Exmouth seafood menu has expanded to incorporate well-sourced local meats, under the guidance of French chef Olivier Guyard.  Olivier brings with him experience from Woodbury Park (where he won their first AA rosette); the Barcelona Hotel in Exeter, and Michelin-starred restaurants in France and England.  Highly recommended to us for their excellent fish soup and sensible pricing.  See website for mouth-watering menu. Otter Brewery’s first pub, which enjoyed an excellent write-up in the Telegraph (see here), and has been well recommended to us for being “consistently good with lovely staff”. 
Also well recommended to us for “especially good puddings”, the Holt has a contemporary yet homely feel.  The regularly updated menu is prepared in the vibrant open kitchen. 
Pre-meal drinks and tapas can be enjoyed on comfy sofas in the pub, where real ales (Otter) glide effortlessly down.  See website for current menu.
